(pronounced Ish-ka-lack!)

Xcalak is the southern most town in Mexico on the Atlantic Coast,  4 1/2 hours south of the tourist traffic of Cancun along the longest reef in the Western Hempishere and just minutes from  Belize . This small fishing village is experiencing a measured growth as more people discover its peaceful charm that retains its true Mexican nature. The sea abounds with fresh lobster, snapper and conch caught. by local fishermen and divers

Coastal tradewinds assure cool breezes and our beach is dotted with the shade of many mature palm trees. The footdock will take you out to knee high water for boating and snorkeling at nearby coralheads.
