You can set your own schedule, filled with as much activity or inactivity as you desire at Casa de Paloma.  Xcalak and the Yucatan provide world class opportunities for the angler, the diver, the bird watcher or the Mayan explorer.  Underwater activities are fantastic.  Kick out from the dock with your snorkeling mask at Casa de Paloma and in about fifty feet you will be looking at hundreds of species of fish.  Swim a little further to the largest barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere to see manta rays and barracuda.  Or charter a boat out to famous Chinchorro Reef. Charter a fishing guide who will pick you up at your dock and in minutes you can be in world class bonefishing territory or outside the reef for tuna or tarpon.  A day trip will take you to the wonderful Mayan museum in Chetumal, to the magical ruins of Kohunlich and Chacchoben, or deep into the heart of the Sian Kaan Biosphere, one of the largest protected areas of Mexico. Or just curl up with a book and a drink to sit and watch the day go by on your private beach...the choice is up to you.
